We're families at the Ogden International School of Chicago who ride to school together. The bike bus started so kids could get to school safely and have fun doing it, and so there'd be a few fewer cars idling on Walton at drop-off.

Thanks to CDOT Safe Ambassadors for keeping us safe on the route.

We took the idea, and a lot of the practical detail, from Chicago Family Biking and from the bike buses collected at Bike Bus World. If you're thinking of starting one at your own school, both are good places to begin.
